New Blog Design

As you can see, today I uploaded the new blog theme I’ve been designing over the past few days. I added some new stuff at the top like the 3 spaces for popular articles, money makers and subscription options and more.
I also added a picture of a Koenigsegg CCX as kind of a motivational picture 
The blue skies and nice car make me think of freedom which is what making money online brings you 
At the bottom I added a nicer footer (I think) with more stuff like recent comments, an about me section and a friends section.
I personally love this theme. At least a lot more than my last theme. Anyway that’s about it. What do you think? Like it?

The clean, simple themes are my favorite- great job! Most sites I’ve seen have the categories on the sidebar, but I like them at the bottom. Nice new look!

And thanks Tom. Yeah it does a bit mostly the header and footer but I tried other things with the header and footer that just didn’t look as nice.
Of course I don’t want people to think I copied John Chow so if I get too much stuff about that I’ll change it a little.

I’m loving this design
First thing I noticed when I logged onto your site was the car, and usually I would think ‘hmm, that’s a bit tacky’, but you’ve pulled it off really well and it definately adds to the site rather than taking away from it

And is that where you can reply to someones comments? I’ll look into that.
This is actually a really nice theme. Clean and organized. A bit “John Chow”-ish, but I don’t think you’ll get too much flack about it. There are a lot, a lot of ads though.
I don’t think anyone would mind being compared to John Chow! He’s got the ultimate dot com lifestyle partly because of his blog!

Yeah, threaded comments allow you to just click ‘reply’, and your reply will come in directly underneath the one you replied to. It just makes things cleaner.
I THINK that if you’re using WP2.7 you don’t need to install anything. Just go to settings > discussion > threaded comments.
Hmmm I’ll try that right now. I was going to install it but just haven’t had the time..
I’ll probably get around to it today. I’ll check the settings to see if they have it right now though. Thanks!
