Wordpress Plugins To Increase Your RSS Subscribers

Do you want to get more subscribers for your blog? If you do, below are a few plugins that I recommend you install on your blog.

1. Action Comments
When commenting, a reader is already by default asked for a name and email address. Action comments makes it so when they enter their name and email and submit a comment, they subscribe to your newsletter. All you have to do is supply the HTML form to your feed or newsletter in the Action Comments admin section, and when the reader comments, they subscribe. Of course, the reader has the option to check or uncheck whether they want to subscribe or not. This may be a bit too sneaky for you; I’ll let you be the judge of that.

2. FeedSmith Plugin
By default, readers are able to subscribe to different feeds provided by WordPress. By using the FeedSmith plugin, your readers will be redirected to the FeedBurner feed.

3. Subscribe Remind
Subscribe Remind is a plugin that, at the end of each post, reminds the reader to subscribe to your RSS feed. You can download this plugin here.

4. WP Greet Box
WP Greet Box displays a message before your post telling your reader that if they’re new, they should subscribe to your RSS feed. You can download WP Greet Box here.

    Nice list, Caden :)

Personally I’m not sure about the first one as it seems a bit annoying, but I do love WP Greet Box… it’s just a shame that it doesn’t really fit with my theme.

Thank you Toan and Simon. And Toan, I don’t think that Subscribe To Comments counts towards your RSS feed. Correct me if I’m wrong but I do use that plugin as well.

I also love WP Greet Box and recommend everyone to use it. Action comments do sound a bit sneaky but I think you would gain a lot of subscribers.
